Hi all!
I'm an early twenties, devoutly Catholic young woman living in NYC. I like good food, talking to strangers in subway cars, attending Mass, ridiculously dramatic TV shows, and chatting with God on street corners and subways.
I'm also dating a woman.
Now, I don't believe these things to be mutually exclusive! Indeed, I'd consider both my queerness and Catholicism to be true and right. It's not easy, though.
This isn't necessarily going to be an apologetics blog. Although I won't mind occasionally defending my religion and/or practice of my sexuality, this is also just my space to exist. So if I sometimes ignore your argumentative comment and opt for posting pictures of the Brooklyn Bridge at sunset or my latest food adventures, don't be surprised. This is why I felt compelled to start writing this blog.
However, please note that I do welcome (and seriously consider) all comments posted on here. With that noted, please try to be charitable when speaking? All rude comments- and this includes those who say "because it just IS" without actually engaging in thoughtful conversation- are not welcome.
